ABOUT :: COMMITMENT CEREMONIES & WEDDINGS
The standard package cost for either a commitment ceremony or a wedding is $500. This basic package includes:
- Up to five hours of photographic coverage of ceremony and reception(s).
- Photography in color or black & white, or a combination of the two. Sepia is also a possibility, but this choice should be discussed with the photographer beforehand.
- Ten rolls of film of 24-exposure each for a total of up to 240 proofs that are 4 x 6 inches each, which are yours to keep. All proofs are on acid-free paper.
- A standard photograph album with plastic sleeves for holding all of the proofs. Each photograph is identified on the back by roll number and negative number for ease in ordering copies, enlargements, etc.
- A one-hour portrait session at the photographer's studio space using either or both indoor or outdoor settings, depending on weather and wishes of clients. Indoor session would involve studio lights and background. Outdoor session may or may not involve studio lights but will utilize outdoor backgrounds.
Because many clients do not know the number of reprints needed prior to the ceremony, the standard package does not include reprints and thus the cost can be kept at $500. The clients, once they determine the number and sizes of reprints, can order the exact amount needed at specific prices. Please see the price list on our Sitting Information page.
The standard package can be augmented in any or all of the following ways:
- Amount of time required of the photographer can be increased at $50 per hour.
- Additional film can be added above the 10 rolls in the package at $25 per roll.
- The photo album holding the proofs can be upgraded to an archival photo book for $150 with sufficient sheets added to accompany all the proofs. In this album, all photographs will be attached with a special photo-safe adhesive and will be accompanied with side notes designating each photograph by roll number and negative number for ease in ordering prints.
- All of the proofs can be transferred to compact discs. For 240 proofs, two discs will be used. The cost for this feature is $100. If additional discs are desired, these can be ordered at $75 for the pair.
- Clients may opt to buy all of the negatives from the photographer for $500. The benefit of this option is that the clients can then order the prints on their own and at their leisure. Having the negatives gives the clients more freedom in making their selections, numbers of copies, sizes, finishes, etc.
